Well, are you?

Over the 4th of July, my dad and two brothers (Patrick and Stefan) as well as Jaxson (Patrick's german short hair) went to Colorado to do some backpacking. So we drove up to to Silverton, CO and backpacked for the weekend. We hiked up about 6 miles to a place called Ice Lake, which is situated above the tree line, around 13,000 feet. It was a great weekend with my dad and brothers, and I can only hope we do it again soon. Special thanks to Ben Rollins for letting me use his 16-35mm 2.8L

Patrick and Stefan decided to run into the lake which is called "ice lake". They ran in quickly, and after they jumped all the way in, came running back out of the water, screaming at the top of their lungs.

This was the view outside our tent.

This was the view from the top of a nearby peak we hiked to, which was more than 14,000 ft up.

I recently had the privilege of shooting some photos for Kacie Williams, who's an incredibly talented singer/songwriter. She is currently recording a new EP, and you can check out her music here.
