I started taking photos when I was 12 on my dad's old school Canon film camera. I immediately knew that I loved it, and would be doing it for the rest of my life. My full name is Joseph Elliott Schlabs, although most of my close friends call me Joey. I was born in 1986, in Hereford, Texas. I was raised in the country, about 5 miles south of town. My house was always surrounded by corn, sugar beets, or cotton. Growing up, I fell in love with the Texas High Plains. First, I was home schooled, then went to a small private school for awhile, and then graduated from Hereford High School in 2004. Currently, I am 23 years old and married to the most amazing woman in the entire world. My wife and I operate another photography company called Cinderella Photography. I've traveled all over the world taking photos, and I am self taught. I use a Canon 5d Mark ii and shoot with nearly all the L lenses that I can get my hands on. These days, I live in Amarillo, Texas, and I'm saved by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
